Crouch butchers are a bustling and thriving family-run business based in Kent and East Sussex.
Butchery is what our father did, and what his father did before that. Started by Bill and Rowena Crouch in 1977, we’re proud to have been helping our customers to feed their families wholesome, quality meat for over 40 years. Now headed up by Rob Crouch, a third generation master butcher, we have three shops in Kent and East Sussex which are a haven for foodies!
Rob and Sara Crouch, Bill and Rowena’s children, spent their early years following their dad around in London’s Smithfield market. Growing up, the family business was very much part of daily life, with much of the business talk unfolding over the kitchen table. It was only natural that they’d follow their father into the butchery trade! Rob trained as a butcher straight out of school, and has taken over the day to day running of the business with his wife, Lottie, and his sister, Sarah. Rob and Lottie are kept incredibly busy by their two children, and work alongside Sarah and Rowena to continue the success of Crouch Family Butchers.
We’re a business rooted firmly in family life. We know exactly what it’s like to balance running around after a hectic family schedule with putting food on the table that’ll satisfy both young and more mature taste buds! We believe in making it as easy as possible to feed your family quality food that everyone will enjoy.
In our family time, we love nothing more than to get into the kitchen with the kids and whip up something new together. After all, quality food is meant to be enjoyed with the people you love most in the world. It’s all about bringing people together.
